Celebrating Pride Month
It’s beginning to look a lot like Pride Month. In honour of this important time of the year, we’ve curated a special collection of rainbow partyware to help you celebrate in vibrant style.
If you’re new to Pride Month, it takes place every year in June to commemorate the Stonewall Riots, when the LGBT+ community protested the police raid of the Stonewall Inn, New York. Pride Month is about campaigning for LGBT+ rights, as well as being a time to party!
Whether you’re throwing an outdoor BBQ, indoor get-together or taking the party to the park, you can make it extra colourful with these themed props.
1. Rainbow flags
Fly your flag with pride. A classic rainbow flag on a stick is a great place to start. Prefer to wear yours? Go for a cape and pop on a pair of bigger-than-you-think deely boppers for a statement effect. Just right for both raves and making waves.
2. Rainbow decorations
Time to deck the halls! Particularly if you’re celebrating at home or in a pub garden. String up some rainbow bunting, inflate a showstopping rainbow balloon arch to place over a doorway, bar or table, or go sweet and simple with these rainbow paper streamers.
3. Pride-themed photobooth
Everyone loves a fun photo opportunity, and here’s a super-simple way to build a photobooth that’ll get everyone involved. Inflate this rainbow frame, lay out a party pack of rainbow photo booth props, make a few slogans of your own and get snapping.
4. Rainbow accessories
If you need something to add a certain je ne sais quoi to your pride attire, go big or go home with rainbow wings, a rainbow tutu and rainbow sunglasses. Wet weather on the forecast? Don’t let it rain on your style parade thanks to this whimsical rainbow umbrella hat.
5. Rainbow tableware
If you’re hosting a small Pride party or picnic, keep up the rainbow theme with your tableware to keep things as glam as one can. We have four ranges for you to curate your theme: Pastel Rainbow, Birthday Brights Rainbow, Metallic Rainbow and Rainbow Stripe.
One of our favourites from the collections? It has to be our colour-changing rainbow cake fountain – it’ll certainly add the ‘wow’ factor to your cake that traditional candles can’t match!
6. Pride event games
A gang that plays together stays together, so why not challenge friends to a good ol’ game of piñata (rainbow shaped, of course)? Our other high-octane games to keep guests entertained include inflatable limbo, giant noughts and crosses and prosecco pong.
